Katie Walker

Hi friend! My name is Katie and I’m a certified personal trainer, Zumba instructor, nutrition coach and owner of ELEVATED Strength + Wellness. I have advanced education in preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum training as a BirthFit Coach. ELEVATED Strength opened in 2020 but I have worked in fitness since 2012. Movement and nutrition have always been an integral part of my life especially through the highs and lows of having babies (in 2010 and 2021). I grew as a trainer by coaching everyone and teaching everything. I’ve coached at a box gym with 60 plus people in a class, a high end boutique fitness studio for 7 years, and a K-8th PE teacher for 4 years. and that is just a snapshot of my decade + of coaching. With each person I shadowed, class I covered or training I went to, I accumulated knowledge and skills. That broad background allows me to be a high quality coach with a deep understanding of how to achieve health and wellness through movement. I still pride myself in never turning down an opportunity to learn. 

I have always been on the hunt for a comprehensive fitness experience for myself. I looked for someone who was skilled and mindful of my wellbeing but could take me to the next level. It was always a disappointing struggle. The more I searched I realized I’m not the only one looking for this . We are all individuals, why are we put in the same box and expected to achieve the same results? 

This is when my dream started to develop...what if I could create a fun, safe, and approachable experience for all fitness levels? For all nutritional needs?

Kenzie Bertain

Hi! My name is Kenzie Bertain, and I have been a coach with Elevated Strength + Wellness since it opened in 2020. I am a CPT with a passion for kettlebell work and athletic performance. From kickboxing to boot camp I help build engines. A dancer at heart, I taught various levels since I was young.

Additionally I am a certified Montessori educator and own Lotus Learning, a tutoring and homeschooling business. I believe in creating an environment for kids to love learning. Let’s just say, teaching is my jam!

With dance as my foundation, fitness and wellness have always played a fundamental role in my life. When I found my second love of coaching fitness, I took every occasion to observe, learn, and grow my knowledge of all things fitness and wellness. From my own experiences, I know what it’s like to feel intimidated walking into a gym . I want to personally be there and guide you on every step of your journey, teaching you to celebrate the small and big accomplishments. Focusing on the whole body, and provide you with the personalized programming and attention you deserve. There is nothing more valuable to me than inspiring and supporting someone to reach their goals.

Kristina Greenwood

Hey hey! I’m Kristina Greenwood a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), licensed RESTART® instructor and Doula.

I would say my journey to health and fitness has been a winding one. In college I truly admired the nutrition and kinesiology curriculum of my roommates, but was committed to my Anthropology and Geography studies. After graduating I pursued a career in Land Surveying. I loved the opportunity to work in the field and move my body, but I knew it wasn’t the career for me. In 2018 I enrolled in my nutritional therapy program in order to shift careers to align more with my passion for health.

While living in Denver, CO I became a Chiropractic Clinical Assistant (CCA), listening to hundreds of clients share their preconception to postpartum health histories. Their trials and concerns inspired me to specialize in women's fertility health and train as a Doula. My time as a CCA has truly changed how I will manage my own perinatal and parenting experience. In my free time I trained to become as strong as possible in the gym, compete locally in Powerlifting, and study under the mentorship of an exceptional coach in order to become a coach myself.

As a coach I approach nutrition and fitness based on each individual's needs and desires. I want you to get strong, eat more, and feel balanced. I measure success in improved physical ability, increased energy, and resiliency. I've walked with my clients through some of their most challenging and joyful experiences. I offer support, guidance and consistency when life can be overwhelming. If you've been looking for an unconventional strength and nutrition coach, you've found her.
